Be Connected - Health My Way
An estimated 4 million people in Australia have limited digital skills and interest, but 22 million Australians now have an online summary of their health information on My Health Record. If you’re one of the 4 million Australians who need support to manage their health online, then this course is for you!
This free workshop will help you sign into Health My Way and provide you with safe sites to research topics relating to diabetes, quitting smoking, diet, fitness and more. Come along and learn how digital technology tools (apps, websites and phones) can help you research, monitor and improve your health and wellness. The tools are aimed at helping individuals record and monitor their health and wellness journey.
Here’s what you’ll learn about during this free session:
- Health My Way - What is Digital Health? Discuss the benefits of using online platforms for becoming informed, keeping track of your health, and taking the journey towards good health and wellness. Talk about the pro’s and con’s of working online or digitally.

About the Health My Way Program
Health My Way is a national digital health literacy program delivered by community organisations to support people aged over 18 years to gain essential skills and confidence in managing their health and wellbeing online. Health My Way is a Good Things Foundation program supported by the Australian Digital Health Agency.
