CHC43015 Certificate IV In Ageing Support
Aged care is one of the largest growth industries in our area! Gain the skills you need to succeed in this growing industry through nationally recognised training.
This qualification reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments. Workers will take responsibility within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery.
To achieve this qualification, students must complete at least 120 hours of on-the-job work at the Certificate IV level to enable all units to be assessed in the workplace.
There is a need for a Federal Police Criminal Record check in all aged care and disability organisations and for all roles. The College recommends all prospective students obtain a Police Record Check prior to commencement to ensure any industry visits can be undertaken and access to workplaces approved.
