Chainsaw - Fell small trees L2 - AHCPCM203
The two-day course requires the felling of small trees in an environment where there are only low risk hazards. It covers the assessment of conditions and surroundings in the area where the tree is to be felled. The course also covers the clean-up of the area and following of safe working procedures. The felling is performed under strict supervision. The course also covers aspects and theory regarding team felling. Competency will be demonstrated during the course and some theoretical work.
Day 1: Theory
Day 2: Practical.
Who is this course for?
Persons working in the areas of Arboriculture, Agriculture and Horticulture where from time to time they are required to fell small trees.
Prerequisites
AHCMOM213 – Operate and maintain chainsaws
Chainsaws and equipment provided by ATAC.
Wear outside work wear and closed in boots/shoes.
This training will be delivered and assessed by Australian Training & Consulting (ATAC) – RTO ID 90886. Statements of Attainment will be issued to students assessed as competent by ATAC.
