Digital Skills Training - Access Online Services and Understanding the Cloud is the perfect course for school-leavers, job-seekers or anyone looking to upskill for personal reasons, for work or study.
This course consists of 8 x 3-hour sessions that will assist learners with the computer skills required to search for jobs and complete job applications, to carry out basic computer tasks in a workplace, and access a range of online services for personal use.

- Access Online Services
Digital technologies are fundamentally changing how we live, work and prosper. The government is working to deliver simple, clear and fast public services through its digital transformation strategy with the aim of becoming one of the top 3 digital governments in the world by 2025. Access Online Services will teach you how to connect to myGov and Service NSW, giving you access to a range of government services online, or to learn the skills you need to participate in online learning. - Understanding the Cloud
We've all heard about 'the cloud', but what exactly is it? In this course you'll learn what the cloud is, how the cloud is used to deliver software and services to users from any device via the Internet, and the benefits of using the cloud. The knowledge you learn in this session will help prepare you for using cloud-based services such as Google Drive at home or at work.
In this session, students will learn:
- how to use Google Drive;
- how to use Youtube;
- how to use Spotify; and
- how to use Flickr.
