TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck
This program will provide the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Forklift truck means a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting media made up of mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachments that can be raised 900mm or more above the ground, but does not include a pedestrian-operated truck or pallet truck.
A person performing this work is required to hold a forklift truck High Risk Work Licence.
On successful completion of this program, participants will have gained the following skills and knowledge:
- Plan operations;
- Conduct routine checks;
- Traffic management plan implementation;
- Operate the Forklift Truck for 3 varied lifts;
- Shut down and secure the Forklift Truck.
Prerequisites for enrolment
- You must show 100 points of ID upon enrolment and bring the same ID on the day of the course, including photo ID to be sighted by the trainer.
- Students need to wear long pants, long shirt and enclosed shoes to the course.

This training is delivered by Community College Northern Inland Inc. RTO 90027. On successful completion of the training program, the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck will be issued to students assessed as competent by Community College Northern Inland.
