Get Digital - Tech Savvy Seniors

This course is offered with the support of the NSW Government and is aimed at assisting seniors in the community to become more tech savvy. These classes are to help you if you have little or no experience using technology or need additional skills and confidence.

During the course, we'll be taking a look at a range of topics that will help you start using technology straight away:

  • Introduction to cyber safety
  • Introduction to the Internet - Part 1
  • Sharing photos and other attachments
  • Introduction to video calling
  • Introduction to online shopping - Part 1
  • Introduction to online shopping - Part 2
  • Introduction to NSW Seniors Card
  • Managing your digital assets.

This course runs for 8 sessions - one morning each week from 9:00am to 12 noon.

Student Eligibility is for Seniors, aged 60 years and above or Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander seniors aged 50 years and above.


Tech Savvy Seniors is a partnership between the NSW Government, The State Library of New South Wales and Telstra, providing free or low cost technology training to seniors through NSW public libraries and community colleges.

Assessments are made against units of competency.
