First Aid HLTAID004 - Emergency First Aid Response in Education & Care
This course applies to educators and support staff working within an eduction and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.
The course is based on the new competencies that the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) has endorsed as satisfying all educator requirements for first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis qualfications.
This is a one-day course based on pre-reading and completion of a workbook before attendance at the course. The workbook will be available when you enrol. Course fee includes a manual. Refresher courses are now done within this one-day format. This course is delivered and assessed by RTO Community College Northern Inland Inc (RTO No: 90027) who issue the Statement of Attainment to successful participants. HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education & care setting, HLTAID003 Provide First Aid and HLTAID002 Provide basic emergency life support are valid for three years from date of completion but the HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation component is suggested to be renewed every 12 months.

• Students are required to read the work book (available when you enrol) and attempt the revision questions.

In certain locations training will be available as one day workbook options with our HLTAID003 Provide first aid course. Please specify your course upon booking.
