Learner Driver Knowledge Course

This program is dedicated to helping people achieve great things.

Join our interactive course sessions, which aim to help you gain your Learner’s licence with confidence. Receive driver education in literacy, language and numeracy to assist with the Driver Knowledge Test.
The last lesson will include a group booking at the RMS to sit the test to gain your learner’s permit. You will also receive access to computers to practice the RMS Learner Driver Knowledge Test. At the completion of the program you will receive a Letter of Exemption from the Learner Driver Knowledge Test fee.

  • Anyone who identifies as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander is eligible for a fully subsidised position.
  • Anyone who is in receipt of a Centrelink benefit is eligible for a fully funded position.
  • Full fee $200 for ineligible applicants.

You must be at least 16 years old and no longer enrolled at school or equivalent to participate in this course.

This program is delivered in partnership with ACE Community Colleges Ltd RTO 90032.

Assessments are made against units of competency from the Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways FSK10113.
  • Read and respond to basic workplace signs and symbols (FSKRDG02)
  • Use basic strategies for work-related learning (FSKLRG04)
  • Engage in basic spoken exchanges at work (FSKOCM02)
