Yellow Card-Scissor Lift EWPA

This one-day training program is designed for people who wish to, or are required to, develop the skills and knowledge needed to operate work elevated platforms - Scissor Lift (SL).

Course participants will gain theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills in the following:

• Hazard identification;
• Identifying safe operating parameters using dataplate and manual;
• Conducting pre- and post-operational checks;
• Operation of EWP;
• Emergency procedure;
• Theory assessment and practical observation and demonstration.

Pre-requisites

• Must be 18 years or over;
• Must bring one form of ID (Driver Licence, Birth certificate, Proof of age card);
• Wear enclosed shoes, long sleeved shirt and long pants during training.

This non-accredited training will be delivered and assessed by an EWPA Accredited Trainer from Specialised Safety. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive the EWP Operator Licence (Yellow Card SL) issued by the EWPA. The EWPA (Elevating Work Platform Association) works to ensure safety, and provides support for the elevating work platform industry in Australia.
