Executive Officer Alison Heagney was on hand to accept the Smart TV at the Inverell Harvey Norman store:

"The college brings together a vibrant community of educators and support staff, business and industry representatives, community and government backers who work to create real and lasting change in the lives of individuals and local communities through education. Our campuses play an important role in community development, providing local access to nationally accredited workforce training, innovative learning, life skills and lifestyle programs, and acting as hubs of information, cultural and social development that work to help people reach their full potential."

"The college is delighted to have the support of committed, local donors who share our belief that education is key to building strong and resilient communities and are willing to invest in the success of local learners."

Warialda Campus Coordinator, Tina Simpson, was excited to accept the offer of a Hisense 49-inch HD LED LCD Smart TV from Harvey Norman:

"We would like to express our sincere thanks to Harvey Norman, the Harvey Norman Sponsorship Team, and local Harvey Norman franchisee Darrin Pamplin for helping us make an impact on people’s learning and lives through the generous donation of a Smart TV for the Warialda campus. Audio-visual aids are important tools for the delivery of educational programs that cater to different learning styles and to help maximise opportunities for successful learning."

This year, donations to the college have helped support the delivery of educational and lifestyle programs to more than 4,000 enrolments, many of whom are now employed or preparing to embark on the next stage of their learning journey through 2020.

From everyone at the college, a big thank you to Harvey Norman for supporting a better education for everyone. Your gift will help provide a better student experience and outcomes for years to come.
