I got into healthcare because of a genuine interest and love of the elderly. I studied to become a Registered Nurse in Melbourne and have since worked in both the city and rurally in the Acute Sector and in Aged Care. This is where I discovered the diverse and passionate workforce in Aged Care. I loved being a part of the education and professional development of the care staff and transitioned into training and upskilling them.

Working in Aged Care is not just challenging and rewarding as I traditionally thought, it’s also now become a fast growing and progressive industry that provides endless opportunities to make a positive difference.
